I've been reading and you tubing a lot about the 16/8 way of intermittent fasting.
It sounds like a good way to get a longer fast in.
I thought I might give it a try.
It's where you allocate an eating window of 6-8 hours and fast the rest of the day.
So if your last meal on the day is an 7pm and your first is at lunch time 12pm, that gives you a fast window of 17hours and then you would eat normally between 12 and 8pm.
I like the idea of the long fast window but not so much the eating normal bit.
Considering that I tend to eat more than I use on a normal eating day.
I think I will stick to the 500 calories in the eating window.
Breakfast: yogurt. 149c.
Afternoon tea: 266c.
Total: 415.
Last meal today 3.30pm.
Will fast until lunchtime tomorrow.
Then I will eat my 500 calories and fast again until Friday morning.
I haven't decided if I will fast on Friday or not.
I'm thinking of doing the 16/8 thing on Friday and start eating at lunch, try to keep calories lowish and stick to the 6-8hour eating window then do the same on Saturday, making my high tea the first meal of the day. possibly only meal of the day.
I then have another high tea on Sunday.
Interesting experiment.
Until tomorrow!
